On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the Director General of the Center received a high-level delegation from the Kingdom of Malaysia, headed by the King of Perlis, his wife, his Crown Prince, and the Grand Mufti of Perlis. The delegation was accompanied by the Grand Mufti of Rwanda. After performing the noon prayer at the Center's mosque, the Grand Mufti of Perlis delivered a brief speech in which he expressed the delegation's pleasure at this visit, which embodies the bonds of brotherhood among Muslims. The delegation was then received at the Center's library, where the Director General welcomed the distinguished guests and introduced the Islamic Cultural Center in Kigali and its various activities, particularly in the fields of education, culture, and health. The delegation expressed their pleasure with the Center's activities and its interest in education and Quran memorization.
