This Friday 21 February 2025, 19 students of S5 MCE along with their teacher visited TUMBA COLLEGE POLYTECHNIC. The ESSI-Nyamirambo delegation reached the College at around 10h00 in the morning and welcomed by the Secretary. Automatically, the delegation was guided toward to the computer Lab and welcomed by the Instructor on IT Mr. NZOBANDORA Fabien.After the quick presentation of the member of the delegation, Mr. NZOBANDORA Fabien began the explanation on the topic. He focused on the following points: 1) Computer networking building using the following devices: Computers, network cable, switches, … 2) Network classes: Class A, Class B and Class C; 3) Network topologies: bus, star, ring, mesh, and tree topologies, each with its advantages and disadvantages; 4) Configuration of Cisco switch and router; After all these explanation, Instructor Fabien moved the students to the server room in the way of showing practically the tools within the computer network. Indeed, the study trip was successfully because students were given data which will accompagnied them in their study field.
