This Friday, February 02, 2024, The Administration of the school organised a field (study) trip to students S6 MPG to the Rwamagana solar power plant. Students along with their Teacher follow attentively the explanation given by the member staff of the solar power plant to know the different steps of solar power production. This site has solar panels that harness solar radiation and convert it into electrical energy. In this study trip, students benefits extra knowledge in how the inverter converts DC electricity to AC electricity and the transformer steps up voltage.
