On Friday, May 30, 2025, students at the Islamic Cultural Center secondary school in Kigali benefited from an awareness presentation on combating injustice and corruption.
The presentation was delivered by a staff member at the Rwandan Ombudsman, a corruption prevention and risk assessment specialist at the Office of the Ombudsman. Attendees learned about the Rwandan Ombudsman and its mandate, the types of corruption and injustice practiced in schools and elsewhere, their consequences, the penalties prescribed for the crime of corruption, and the role citizens must play in combating corruption with the goal of eradicating it completely, in line with Rwanda Vision 2050.
