A group of students from the Islamic Cultural Center High School in Kigali participated on Friday 10/01/2025 in an event at the Pele Stadium-Kigali on the occasion of the launch of the 2025 edition of the Kigali Youth Festival organized by the City of Kigali. Mr. UTUMATWISHIMA Abdallah, Minister of Youth, welcomed the Kigali Youth Forum program. He said that this is the right time to reflect on the courage of Rwandans in building their country over the past thirty years. He said: “The distinctive values of love of country, dedication, love of work and its improvement, farsightedness, using less to do more, creating new things, strengthening the unity of Rwandans, security and protection of gains, will remain so.” This makes us show our contribution to accelerating the development of the country. He advised the youth to avoid alcohol consumption, drug abuse, adultery, waste, destruction of infrastructure, misuse of social media, etc. For his part, the RDF spokesman, Brigadier General Ronald RWIVANGA, asked, "What is the use of hard work when you end up taking drugs?" and called on the youth to avoid drugs. He also gave them the following advice: Take care of your health, do regular self-examination to know your health status, be polite, love your country, innovate, love your work... We note that this activity will witness cultural, artistic and other events until January 31.
