On Friday, 01/03/2024, Students of S6 MCE along with their Teacher made study trip to IPRC Tumba Rwanda Polytechnic. Teachers of IPRC Mrs. REDUMPTA and Mr. Prosper helped students to understand deeply the role of Fiber optic. First, they showed students the way of preparing a fiber optic cable by clipping and clean it. After this processes, students were showed how to heat the cable in the way of making it worked. Students maked their own cable correctly after the demostration of teachers. The second topic was talking about Computer Networking in the manner of configuration. Students were following the explanation given by Mr EMMANUEL on how to configure a switch by using the application Putty. Different devices were presented like Cisco router, console cable, switches,... In conclusion, students were satisfied by gaining extra knowledge in fiber optic and networking. They thanked the teachers for their precious time to make them know extra in computer sciences.
